I am David Lockwood Van de Ven, Jr., AIA, RA, RID, CSI, PREI, TAREI, NACHI, a Senior Level Staff Architect with over thirty-eight years of combined architectural design, programming, production, and construction administration experience in the profession. I continue to pursue new, challenging opportunities and interests broadening production and management skills, experience, and knowledge. I endeavor to continue with my goals to pursue design and business excellence and to mentor my professional experience by encouraging individuals interested and talented in the design profession. I have over thirteen years of healthcare experience of which over nine years were in regional facility service and management for healthcare and related ancillary facilities of a regional healthcare provider in Dallas. In overview: I have been involved for over 38 years in a variety of architectural management production styles, delivery processes, and environments from the two - man office to the corporate structure. I have been involved with the design build and facility maintenance processes from standalone to building renovation. I have over 18 years CAD / 3D and computer skills with word processing and spreadsheet experience in the network environment. I have been involved with residential, multi-family, commercial, government, medical, industrial, educational, high - rise office, corporate interior design and urban - scale design projects. I have endeavored to provide goal oriented professionalism to meet the clients programmed needs within a programmed financial budget while meeting project design excellence. I have endeavored to provide employable results - driven services that are CLEAR, CONCISE, COMPLETE, CONSISTANT, and CORRECT. At present we have the immediate concerns and needs to start as soon as possible. I am currently upgrading and migrating to AutoCAD Revit Building Suite Premium from AutoCad Architecture and 3d MAX.
