CAREER HIGHLIGHTS Senior Estimator (2006 - 2009): NYC DDC Central Park Police Precinct State University of New York at Stony Brook- Two new facilities PANYNJ / PATH various work orders incl.Fiber Ring and Radio / HUB / Downtown Development MTA LIRR East Side Access Consulting Senior Estimator, 2005, prepared electrical budget estimates for several NYC DEP projects and upgrades including: Tallman's Island and Powells Cove Croton Catskill Delaware Kensico Reservoir upgrades including UV disinfection facilities Alley Creek Combined Sewer Overflow Paerdegat Basin CSO Additionally, prepared a number of estimates for the NYC SCA, primarily fire alarm and public address. Long Island Rail Road Capital Program Management, Jamaica, NY (1998 - 2004): Consulting Senior Estimator for the preparation of approx. $70 million in electrical estimates for the 2000-2004 program, with primary emphasis on DC Traction Power Substations. Component replacement estimates included tunnel lighting, third rail cable, poles, signal power cable, battery banks, motor-generators, and platform lighting. Reviewed numerous AMTRAK Force Account Estimates including Tunnel Life Safety Projects. Order-of-magnitude substation rehabilitation estimates included: *Manhasset$1.37 million *Bayside $2.31 million *Grand Avenue$2.58 million *Massapequa$2.28 million *Nassau Blvd.$2.31 million *Floral Park$3.91 million *Inwood $2.85 million Third Party Substation Replacement Bid Estimates included: *Island Park and Valley Stream $22 million *Babylon Yard$15 million *Shea$5.7 million New York City School Construction Authority, New York, NY (1991 - 1994): Estimator involved in change order negotiations relating to fire alarm upgrades, electromagnetic door locks and metal detectors for city-wide Safe Streets Safe City Program. Additionally, negotiated miscellaneous change orders for elementary, junior and senior high schools with change order values ranging from $10,000 to $500,000. North Shore Marine Transfer Station (NYCDOS) and Hunts Point Water Pollution Control Plant (NYCDEP) (1989 - 1990): Both projects involved electrical system improvements including refurbishing existing panel boards and motor control centers, feeder replacement, fire alarm upgrades, new lighting, new telephone system, branch wiring including marine-grade receptacles, hazardous location and corrosion-resistant equipment, new heat-tracing system, roof smoke hatches and combination fire/smoke dampers. NYCDEP - North River Water Pollution Control Plant (1986 - 1989): - Negotiated $1,000,000+ in change orders for new 375,000,000 gallon per-day sewage treatment plant. Work included new lighting, branch wiring, panels, switchgear, motor control centers, connections to all motorized equipment, heat tracing, instrumentation and control, main feeders and service equipment. Work also included motorized equipment such as skip hoists, rake drives, sludge pumps, odor control units, anaerobic digesters, waste gas burners, chemical mixing pumps, water meters.
