                                           Complete responsibility for all new construction including:  P&L, providing administrative direction, overseeing the activities of the New Construction Division, and advising and making recommendations to Engineering Division regarding new construction.  I oversaw seven new projects with a net worth in an excess of 150 million and growing at a rate of 27%.  I completely revamped the New Construction Division to improve safety, streamline costs, and improve field productivity.  The divisions work force consisted of seven Construction Site Managers, fifteen Site Superintendents and a work force that numbered around three hundred.

                                           Oversaw day-to-day field operations from start of project thru start-up, final punch list and turnover.  Projects included:  a new 5.5 million dollar Boiler House for Dupont Corporation that housed 2-80,000 pounds per hour package boilers; three projects as Lead Construction Manager at Celanese Corporation (a 10 million dollar water treatment plant to produce boiler feed water to existing boiler plant, replacement of four burners on an existing coal fired boiler that were replaced with four low nox (Eagle Air) burners, and an existing gas/oil fired package boiler burner that was upgraded with a new Coen low nox burner); construction of a new 4.5 million dollar Boiler House for Rohm and Haas, and a new boiler house for P & G that will house a 40,000 pound per hour Package Boiler.

                                           Oversaw design and construction/start-up of the first production of alcohol free beverage at breweries (Anheuser Busch - Tampa and Jacksonville, FL and Newark, NJ).  Engineered plants pipe routing/tie-in locations; coordinated design/equipment installation; acted as liaison between company/contractors; set construction schedules, analyzed/corrected mechanical problems, tested all equipment and performed final inspection/walk through.  Projects efficient completion resulted in clients corporate request to carry out similar duties at two other locations.  At Virginia Power, Mt. Storm, VA, reengineered pipe design drawings to prevent interference with existing piping/structure; analyzed design drawings noting problem areas; made necessary routing changes; reviewed vendors vessel/tank design; and inspected all installations.  The cost effective resolution of problems pushed the project ahead of schedule midway through resulting in a Letter of Commendation from mechanical contractor.

                                           Assisted in design of a Wet Gas Compressor (BP Oil, Marcus Hook, PA).  Followed project to job site where I was promoted to Assistant Construction Manager.  Oversaw day-to-day construction operations, implemented design changes, and finished project in the capacity of Resident Construction Manager.  Performed final walk-down and turnover of plant.  Upon satisfactory completion of project I remained onsite per clients request to act as Liaison with the Expansion of the Acid Plant.  Oversaw building construction/ installation of new piping, holding tanks, pumps/cooling tower, and made final inspection/walk through.  Resultant transformation was completed on schedule enabling double production capabilities.

                                           Assisted in the design of a Trans-Oceanic holding tank to transport Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in the hull of a super tanker:  constructed scale model, performed rough water simulation test, analyzed data, made necessary changes, and presented final design for approval.  The successful project, meeting all specifications, was completed on time and under budget.
